Westin Trends – Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty applies only to new furniture products purchased from an authorized Westin Trends retailer. Westin Trends ("the Company") warrants that its furniture products are manufactured to meet quality standards and will be free from verified manufacturing defects when used under normal residential conditions for the applicable warranty periods outlined below. This warranty is provided solely to the original retail purchaser ("Purchaser") and is not transferable.

Warranty Coverage & Remedies

If a product concern is reported within the applicable warranty period and is confirmed by an authorized Company representative to be a manufacturing defect, Westin Trends' obligation is limited, at its discretion, to one of the following remedies: supplying replacement parts, repairing the product, replacing the affected item, or refunding the original purchase price paid for the defective component. Shipping, delivery, and service-related costs are excluded.

Category-Specific Warranty Details

HDPE Components

Covered against structural failure for the applicable warranty period. Minor fading, expansion, contraction, and surface markings caused by normal outdoor exposure are not considered defects.

Polypropylene Components

Covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Damage caused by normal wear, fading, chemical exposure, misuse, or improper care is excluded. Minor texture or color variations are natural characteristics and are not defects.

Hardware

Covered against structural failure only. Surface rust or corrosion—especially in coastal or high-salinity environments—is not covered if proper maintenance is not performed.

Metal Frames

Covered against structural failure. Corrosion, rust, finish wear, fading, and surface damage are excluded.

Cushions & Fabrics

Covered for defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable term. Mildew, fading, staining, or wear resulting from improper care or environmental exposure are excluded.

Firepit Inserts

Covered for the applicable warranty period. A glass wind guard is required for use; operating without one voids warranty coverage.

Motion Mechanisms/Hardware

Covered against structural failure for the applicable term. Noise, lubrication requirements, and minor movement variations are considered normal and are not defects.

Umbrellas & Umbrella Bases

Covered against defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable term. Surface rust or corrosion is not covered.

Umbrella Fabrics

Covered for defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable term. Fading, mildew, staining, or wear due to environmental exposure are excluded.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Failure to follow care, maintenance, or assembly instructions
• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, vandalism, fire, or extreme weather
• Freight damage or improper installation
• Normal weathering, including fading, chalking, or discoloration
• Rust or corrosion of steel or stainless hardware
• Color or pattern variations between replacement and existing components
• Products sold "as-is," floor samples, or clearance items
• Use of non-Westin Trends accessories or replacement parts
• Commercial use of products warrantied for residential use only
• Shipping charges for replacement parts after 60 days from purchase

Warranty coverage applies to individual components only and does not extend to complete furniture sets.

Limitation of Liability

Westin Trends shall not be responsible for incidental, special, or consequential damages. Liability under this warranty shall not exceed repair, replacement, or refund of the original purchase price. Certain state laws may not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to all Purchasers. Warranty coverage applies only within the United States.

Authorized online sales channels may offer their own warranty coverage, which supersedes this manufacturer warranty. Products covered under a channel-specific warranty are not eligible for coverage under the Westin Trends warranty.

Service & Warranty Claims

To initiate a warranty claim, the Purchaser must contact the authorized retailer from whom the product was originally purchased. Claims submitted directly to Westin Trends will not be accepted.

Required documentation includes:

• A written description of the reported issue
• Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice)
• Model and serial number (if applicable)
• Clear photographs of the defect

All warranty returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Products not returned using a Company-issued call tag become the Purchaser's responsibility and may incur additional charges. Failure to return requested items within 30 days may result in forfeiture of warranty coverage.
